$1,295.44

The Schneider OffGrid Portable Power Station 730 (APC PPS730-AZ) is a 738Wh lithium-ion power station with two Australian AS3112 outlets, pure sine wave output and five USB ports. It suits camping, caravanning and backup power for phones, laptops and small appliances when mains power isn't available.

Key features

  • 738Wh lithium-ion battery: enough stored energy to keep laptops, phones, lights and small appliances running away from mains power.
  • 2 Australian AS3112 outlets with pure sine wave output: plug in standard Australian appliances, with clean power that helps protect sensitive electronics.
  • 5 USB ports plus a 15W wireless charging pad: 3 USB-A and 2 USB-C, including a 100W USB-C PD port for laptops, so most devices charge without extra adapters.
  • 3 ways to recharge: from a wall outlet, from a solar panel or from your car, and you can keep powering devices while it recharges.
  • LCD display: shows power station status, charge level and estimated runtime at a glance.

Schneider Electric's user manual lists the OffGrid PSP100 and PSP200 portable solar panels for solar charging through the DC input. The APC OffGrid 100W portable solar panel (PSP100) is available from Ink and Rolls. Solar panels are not included with the power station.

Who it's for

  • Suited to: campers, caravanners and remote workers who need Australian outlets and USB charging off-grid, and households wanting backup power for phones, laptops, modems and lights during outages.
  • Not suited to: appliances that draw more than the 700W rated AC output (check the wattage label on your appliance first). For smaller loads, compare the OffGrid Portable Power Station 500, or browse the full APC range for UPS backup at a desk or in a rack.
