$1,501.14

The Ricoh fi-8170 is a compact A4 duplex document scanner for busy offices that need to digitise large batches fast. It scans both sides at 70 ppm / 140 ipm, holds 100 sheets in the feeder and connects by USB or Gigabit LAN, so a whole team can share it.

Key features

  • 70 ppm / 140 ipm duplex scanning: both sides of an A4 page in one pass at 200 or 300 dpi, in colour, greyscale or mono, so large jobs finish quickly.
  • 100-sheet ADF and 10,000 sheets a day expected volume: load a full stack and keep it topped up while scanning, suited to daily back-office digitising.
  • Paper protection and multifeed detection: image monitoring and sound detection (iSOP) plus an ultrasonic overlap sensor help stop damaged pages and missed sheets.
  • Handles mixed documents: paper from 20 to 465 g/m², plastic cards up to 1.4 mm, booklets and passports under 7 mm, and long pages up to 6,096 mm.
  • USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Gigabit Ethernet: connect to one PC or share it on the network, with PaperStream IP, PaperStream Capture and PaperStream ClickScan software.
